Cathy makes sure Lumio clients have a great experience from implementation onward — not just learning the tool, but understanding what the data means for their risk picture. She trains and supports new users early, because if they don’t see the tool’s value fast, they’ll look elsewhere.
She spent more than 40 years in banking — much of it in C-suite and executive leadership —before joining Lumio’s predecessor, SRA, through a consulting engagement, later converting to a full-time employee, and with Lumio itself since March 2016. Since then, her role has shifted from pure consulting toward improving the software itself and leading a team, something she says she never expected to do.
Tell us about a moment at Lumio where you thought, this actually matters.
It’s when a brand-new chief risk officer starts to buy in and speak the language of risk — watching that click for someone is huge. At the end of the day, it’s about helping banks tell their risk story.
