Cathy Jackson, CPA

A client-services veteran with nearly 40 years of banking operations and compliance leadership, driving seamless customer information processing and audit excellence.

Cathy is the Vice President of Client Services with almost 40 years of experience serving the financial services industry. She has extensive knowledge in all facets of banking operations and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance testing, and internal audit administration.

Prior to starting with Lumio, she was Senior Vice President and Area Manager for Southern Bank and Trust Company, leading the acquired bank’s system for processing customer information, general ledger, and customer transactions to Southern Bank’s core processing system. She also oversaw sales, service and the internal control compliance functions of the Hampton Roads branches. Prior to Southern, Cathy was the SVP & Risk Management Officer for Bank of Hampton Roads where she established the Bank’s first risk management department, developed a risk-based program and policies and procedures to ensure the Bank’s compliance with BSA, AML, and the Bank’s regulatory compliance requirements. Prior to Hampton Roads, she was the Chief Operating Officer for Heritage Bankshares, Inc. where she oversaw accounting functions, regulatory reporting, budgeting, funds management, customer accounting, loan operations, deposit operations, human resources, investor relations, and technology deployment.

Cathy attended Old Dominion University and earned a BS in Business Administration from Old Dominion University. She was also a licensed Certified Public Accountant for 20 years.
