Shawn M. Ryan, CFA

Shawn M. Ryan, CFA brings three decades of experience in business development, financial management and commercial strategy in a variety of executive roles at top-tier companies that include S&P Global, Capital One, Dynex Financial Inc., and Rochester Community Savings Bank to his role at Lumio as Chief Financial Officer.

Shawn’s unique career began as a teller and has included leadership roles in corporate finance, underwriting, treasury, audit, credit review, business & product management, event marketing and marketing operations. His responsibilities have included strategy development, P&L ownership, revenue growth, organizational transformation, client satisfaction, technology implementation, process improvement, and cultural adoption. Throughout his career he has focused on building strong teams and creating outstanding stakeholder relationships. Most recently as Senior Director, Head of Events and Marketing Operations for S&P Global, Shawn lead vision, strategy, and execution for all facets of events and marketing operations worldwide, with a focus on producing live, virtual, and on-demand conferences, professional development programs, product workshops, webinars, and strategic roundtables.

Mr. Ryan builds breakthrough businesses, products, programs and teams. Shawn holds a Masters of Business Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Science from SUNY at Geneseo and has been a CFA charter holder since 2006.
